William-
I meant "The Moon Is Broken Tonight". Too many "Moon" songs I guess. Thanks again.
William-
Thanks for the kudos. I assume you're talking about "The Moon Always Finds Me". I'm not planning a new CD right now, but that track and one or two others are in the catalog; if I find I have a half dozen or so songs, I'll probably start working on a whole CD as usual. No recordings with Thunderhouse done or planned. The band in general doesn't share my enthusiasm for original recordings etc...
hi gary lovr the new single . have you recorded any tracks with thunderhouse and any plans for a new album yours william
William-
Thanks. Unfortunately no plans to tour the UK in the near future. Hope that will change, and will let you know if it does.

Hey, a sister sent me a link to your site so I thought I'd say hello. I'm a brother from Delaware who is also a musician. You can hear my stuff at www.christianfloyd.com ... Stop by and let me know what you think!
I'm playing the songs Lindsay and Missy sing on Not For Sale to Minors for everyone in the Trenton Library. Definitely a hit!!!!! What's with the security code!? LOL!!!
Hello Gary
I just received a request through Facebook to add you as Friend. I have recently come to know Roger K through a group called JWtalks. And Roger has sent me the Facebook links to some of the good people that are his friends. I was able to listen to some of your music. You are really talented! Although I too am musical, I think that I will have to wait a while until we are into the 1000 years I might be able to achieve real talent.

Pyotr-
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that my left leg finally healed up, although still a little red and swollen. Now I don't have to worry about amputation (seriously).
Pyotr-
Thx for asking. Still in phys therapy for shoulder and neck, finally had MRI showing herniated disc in neck and rotator cuff tear in shoulder. Now the funny part - Complaints of chest pain led to ECG, which led to stress test, which led to nuclear stress test - ridiculous for such a small problem that's related to a car accident, not a heart defect. I'm getting around just fine, no more crutches. Thx again.
Hey, Gar, any update on your car accident injuries?
It was GREAT speaking with you and Rose again!
The flood of joyful memories was AWESOME as is your channel! Hope you can make it out this way sometime in the near future. We'd have a blast!!! Haha!!
Pyotr-
No, no hearing loss. It's a funk I had a dozen or so years ago that lasted 4 or 5 years, when I didn't write anything because I couldn't hear it in my head. I just enjoy music so much that normally I'm always getting musical/lyrical ideas in my head and I need to share them. Music can express the full gamut of emotions, but when I'm totally bummed out and have a hard time focusing on anything positive I don't want to and can't think of anything positive musically, so it just doesn't happen. I don't know if that makes any sense, but I guess I just need time to sort out some mass confusion in my mind.
Dude, what do you mean you dont hear music? You have some hearing loss? Bummer if you do. long live ludwig beethoven!
Hello Dear Brother GAry...Im a sister from Australia who just a couple of weeks ago lost my oldest son due to his motor cycle hitting another vehicle...needless to say the resurrection hope is foremost in my mind right now. I stumbled across your music here today and it was a very teary day ...then I found myself crying tears of hope ..faith and gratefulness to Jehovah..that my son WILL live again...but also your music and the words Up From the Dust..brought me to tears too. Im so glad I found you here and I see you have also had an accident. I do hope you are recovering well. Im loving all your music styles just beautiful. take care and thank you ..your music has lifted me so very much...Michelle
Bunny sent me your site - no reference to Elvis Costello - Oh Wow!!!
My son Christian graduated from the Crane School of Music
Great site! Beautiful music! Succes and many blessings on your way!
My, my, seems you've been busy the past few decades. Just saw/heard your site today - definitely some nice stuff. Looks like we have a lot of catching up to do.

Keep em flying, Brother! Nice to hear real music from one of our own!
I really like "High On Yesterday" - for obvious reasons. (insert giggle) Thanks for including it in your CD. It was a surprise and an honor.
Gary , U + I volunteered @WFUV last week (I'm the one with 'the stache' that belongs on a single-malt whiskey ad.) Among the CD's that I perused from 90.7 was your 'Tribute' CD..... PHENOMENAL, and it deserves serious airplay. I'm at my sister's just now @WestMilford , and we're blown away by your creativity here. Well-done, Dude , and I hope to catch you (or your band) , I'll use your website for updates...nice meetn' U last week , all the very best in your pursuits....
Great radio interview, Bro. You articulate so well. Great choice of songs to represent too.
Superb!
Tracy-
Thanks for the kudos. Just to set the record straight, the lyrics for "Falling Down" were co-written with my good friend Gary Flood. One of the lines he wrote is the one you mentioned, "I guess what I'm asking for is more than just a shoulder for my cryin'". It's one of my favorites as well, but I can't take credit for it!
Glad you're enjoying the CD, and thanks again for your positive comments.
Gary - It looks like cdbaby has not posted my comments, copyright issues? I just wanted to say that I LOVE your lyrics!!!! "what Im asking for is more than just a shoulder for my crying, Im trying to stay alive" "Eyes opened and saw you running with my heart, now we're apart and you never gave it back" "You receive all the fame, just as long as your on your game, but the showers of praise they come with a price, and you pay with your heart, thats the way you measure the art, just dont make our love a sacrifice" and ALL of Crying Fire from beginning to end is pure brilliance!
Keep them coming, brother!
To quote you, "I will be there, my heart is free!"
hello, my brother,
I'm a sister in Taos, NM. A brother passed on your website address to me so I went to check it out. I was blown away. The music is spectacular! I can hardly wait to see what you do in the new system!

Wonderful work, Mr Alt! This is one that will stay in my CD player for a long time - except to switch between disks 1 & 2. So many styles here, it's impossible not find something you like!
Gary - I just wanted you to know that I posted more detailed comments on your cdbaby page. But I LOVE your lyrics! They are truly brilliant. Keep them coming, Bobby!
I'm so impressed with the website. Very easy to get around and understand. I would like to buy 2 of the new CD if you can deliever. Thanks
Really cool website, Mr. -ternator!
Like Jim, I was one of the blessed few to have a rush release copy of "Tribute" flap its little wings (Richard Thompson reference there - hope somebody got it!) right into my mailbox in weeks gone by. What can one say to such a musico-culinary pot-pourri but, "Alt!" ("Amadeus" reference - although Wolfy was being smart-ass-ish when he used said referenced exclamation. However, and notwithstanding, no irony intended here, only heartfelt praise for a musician/composer/performer extraordinaire whose time has come!!).
I have stood next to the man in the studio, and contributed and perpetrated my own rather humble ideas on the drums to his pearls of musical wisdom, and I am here to tell you - the only thing more exciting than standing next to this man in the studio and witnessng what he's capable of is standing across the room from him and doing the same. While I have no idea what that actually means, it speaks volumes about his skill, passion and, perhaps most importantly, (dead serious here), Mr. Alt's frighteningly formidable breadth of knowledge in all genres of music, mated to an ability to execute loving homage to all said genres with both his pen AND his instruments of choice.
In short, all of you out there in cyberspace, buy the "Tribute" CD. You'll thank me, both for the heartfelt recommendation, as well as for the stellar drumming (not serious here) on "Love Too Deeply".
Rock on, Mr. Alt. We dare you!
Let it rock! Best of luck. Or, let it luck and best of rock. Whatever. The point is, cool! I'll help promote. But I do also want to sell my mom's precious silverware. As far as a life partner is concerned, there's always Ingrid.
Now, this is a website I can sink my teeth into. Of course I may have to consult a dentist to remove the broken plastic particles from my gums.
It's always exciting to hear new, home grown music. I look forward to more stuff before it all comes crumbling down into a heap of rubble. Much like the quartet on the Titanic, it has been an honor playing with you.
Just got a rush release of the new Tribute CD. Man, is this a GREAT collection! Not crazy about Burt Bacharach, but oh that Hendrix and Lennon stuff! Wow...
